Chris and Shaun’s E3palooza — Day One

June 4, 2012July 6, 2012 Gray Areas

E3 is kind of a big deal every year, and the two of us decided that we needed to talk about some of the announcements, especially since this shiny new website lets us promote posts like this more easily. Rather … Continue reading Chris and Shaun’s E3palooza — Day One

Splinter Cell Blacklist: E3 Announcement and Trailer

June 4, 2012 Shaun

After Splinter Cell Conviction, it was hard to imagine Sam Fisher being any more brutal than he was on his mission to avenge his daughter. The guy does his best Mel Gibson impersonation, torturing an entire nation while asking “Give … Continue reading Splinter Cell Blacklist: E3 Announcement and Trailer

New E3 2012 Tomb Raider Trailer

June 1, 2012 Shaun

Admittedly, I’ve never been impressed by the Tomb Raider series. The frustrating platforming, one dimensional protagonist, uninspired gameplay, and laughable story never really did it for me. However, after checking out this trailer, I can safely say the Tomb Raider … Continue reading New E3 2012 Tomb Raider Trailer

Skydiving Preview: My last week on earth

June 1, 2012September 16, 2012 Shaun

I’m skydiving on Sunday in Vegas, and I’m gonna level with you, America—I couldn’t think of anything to write. I had a few different ideas. Maybe my last will and testament . Or a list of things I’ll tragically miss … Continue reading Skydiving Preview: My last week on earth

Gray Areas

Gray Areas is a pop culture extravaganza with a live weekly podcast every Thursday night, daily Let's Play videos, and a bevy of old blog posts for your enjoyment.

The current crew includes Chris, Dave and Shaun, who have been there since the beginning, and Cody, who joined in 2021. We also have other contributors like Michaela who chip in from time to time.

We cover everything from video games, anime and movies to music, books and idiots in the news.

This whole thing was started as At the Buzzer in February 2011, the brainchild of three men desperate for attention. It became Objection Network in 2017 and then this in 2024. It’s slightly related to an old Flagstaff radio show from 2008, kinda like how Frasier was slightly related to Cheers. In other words, we're all getting old and it's a little depressing.
