Work and video game. 1st world problems indeed.

The Flagstaff Sam’s Club has been CRAZY busy this week, what with the 4th coming and all, as has my video game life at home. The new endings for Mass Effect 3 came out, I finally got my hands on a copy of Pokemon Conquest and I was granted early access to The Secret World. All of these have gone a LONG way towards eating up my time this past week. Rest assured though! Because I have plans for the future…

• First off, a review for the final episodes of season 1 of Korra. The finale, and the episodes leading up to it, were rather intense. So you can bet I’ll be giving them their due discourse.
• Spider-men #2 hit comic stands this past week. And I’ll be taking the time to break down the good and the bad of what is (still) shaping up to be perhaps the greatest cross-over to hit Marvel Comics in a long time.
• Me and Shaun are both HUGE Mass Effect fans, so expect us to cover the new endings. Did they fill all the plot holes? Did we finally get a sense of closure? Be sure to keep an eye out for our answers.
• Pokemon Conquest was a blast! But sadly the bulk of the content is post-game… So despite already fighting and struggling to conquer 17 different kingdoms filled with Pokemon wielding samurai and ninjas, I still have a way to go before I can finally give the game the review it deserves.
• And lastly, my foray into The Secret World has been filled with all the spooky, dark and modern awesomeness that I’d expected to find in Funcom’s newest MMO. I’m hoping to, at some point, find a way to record my journey through this world of the supernatural and show you all what makes the game so fun. And I mean, come on, everyone loves video reviews right?!

So, long story short… Stay tuned! We’ve got a ton of cool stuff in the works over here at At the Buzzer! I might not be a regular on the Podcast, but I’m determined to give you people the awesome content y’all deserve!
