Game On: Super Smash Bros. (Part 19 – Smashketball)

Chris and Shaun and a rotating crew of special guests dive head-first into the new Super Smash Bros. game for Wii U, enjoying the hectic eight-player battles and the shiniest visuals you ever did see. They’ll also be going through a variety of other game modes, like Classic, All-Star and Home Run Contest, taking in everything the game has to offer.

  1. I’ve heard of Smashketball, but I’d never seen it live until now. Awesome concept! Have you heard of some of the other Smash mini games people have come up with? A site I work with wrote an article on some of them, I can link you if you want.

    I only have the 3DS version so sadly I can’t partake in these games, but they’re fun to watch. Great video!

    1. Yeah, I’ve seen some other assorted minigames out there — soccer with Jigglypuff, a pinball machine-esque stage…it’s cool to see what the creative folks are coming up with. You can link an article if you’d like.

      And honestly, being able to play the Wii U version is the main reason my 3DS one has been neglected ever since. It’s a good game, but it just doesn’t hold up in comparison. Handy for on the go, though.
