Chris tackles the scary SA-X in a playthrough of a leading contender for best game in the series: Metroid Fusion! He’ll be going through the game in an attempt to stop the X parasites and save the poor scientists who are stranded on the station — or just some familiar animals instead.

I loved this game when I first played it. It was only much later, once I’d played all games in the series that I realised how much better Super Metroid is. But Fusion will always have a place in my heart!
Yeah, my experience is kinda similar. Super Metroid is just too good of a game overall. But when I consider that Fusion was an early GBA title, it’s pretty impressive how much they managed to pack into that tiny cartridge.
