June 24, 2013June 28, 2013 Chris

The BMW of Spacecraft

June 23, 2013June 26, 2013 Jason

Speed. What is it? What does it mean? These are the questions posed in the new commercial for ORIGIN Jumpworks 300 Series line of spacecraft. This commercial has, singlehandedly, motivated me to break my ‘kickstarter virginity’ and pledge money towards Chris … Continue reading The BMW of Spacecraft

Microsoft announces change on used games, abandons always online for Xbox 1

Like Jason mentioned in his post, Microsoft has abandoned their stance on restricting used games sales and requiring frequent online check ins. I wanted to offer my second take, because, just like that, I’m interested in the Xbox One again. … Continue reading Microsoft announces change on used games, abandons always online for Xbox 1

Amazing Spiderman 3 and 4 announced – What about Spiderman/Venom?

June 17, 2013June 17, 2013 Shaun

The Amazing Spiderman 3 and 4 have been announced, and I’m slightly disappointed. I enjoyed the original fine enough, and love the cast. I also thought the original was a little rushed and hastily cut, hiding a much better movie … Continue reading Amazing Spiderman 3 and 4 announced – What about Spiderman/Venom?

The disappointing $60 price of Xbox One games

June 17, 2013 Shaun

Microsoft has revealed they will be selling next generation, first party, Xbox One games at 60 dollars. Of course they did. Gray Areas

Gray Areas is a pop culture extravaganza with a live weekly podcast every Thursday night, daily Let's Play videos, and a bevy of old blog posts for your enjoyment.

The current crew includes Chris, Dave and Shaun, who have been there since the beginning, and Cody, who joined in 2021. We also have other contributors like Michaela who chip in from time to time.

We cover everything from video games, anime and movies to music, books and idiots in the news.

This whole thing was started as At the Buzzer in February 2011, the brainchild of three men desperate for attention. It became Objection Network in 2017 and then this in 2024. It’s slightly related to an old Flagstaff radio show from 2008, kinda like how Frasier was slightly related to Cheers. In other words, we're all getting old and it's a little depressing.
