Merry Christmas, From The Christmas Leprechaun

December 18, 2012December 18, 2012 Shaun

The Christmas Leprechaun Wishes You and Yours a Very Merry Christmas Santa Claus is dead. Not figuratively, like “people are jaded and don’t believe in miracles anymore.” Literally, he bit the bullet. Figuratively. He was actually thrown out of his … Continue reading Merry Christmas, From The Christmas Leprechaun

Review: Street Fighter x Mega Man

December 17, 2012January 1, 2013 Chris

Street Fighter x Mega Man came out of nowhere, but it’s nice to see the Blue Bomber getting some recognition on his 25th anniversary. Let’s be honest: Mega Man has pretty much died. Capcom has run the franchise into the … Continue reading Review: Street Fighter x Mega Man

BulletTime #3

December 12, 2012December 21, 2012 David

Much like Chris from Monday, I’ve been slammed, so I’ve condensed my thoughts in a way that is similar to Chris’, but totally different. You are now entering “BulletTime” Geez, this year’s Cardinals might be the worst football team we’ve ever had in Phoenix, and we’ve had some … Continue reading BulletTime #3

Number Eight With a Bullet

December 10, 2012December 31, 2012 Chris

‘Tis the season for more bullets. It seems like I don’t have a lot of time to get a post ready whenever I go down to Phoenix, which was the case this past weekend. I had a couple other ideas … Continue reading Number Eight With a Bullet

Star Trek Into Darkness Extended Trailer: Gary Mitchell?

December 7, 2012December 18, 2012 Shaun

Star Trek Into Darkness Extended Trailer: Gary Mitchell? Trailers for trailers – an unfortunate reality of the world we live in. I can sit here and whine about it, or I can talk about how as far as these trailer … Continue reading Star Trek Into Darkness Extended Trailer: Gary Mitchell?

The Price is Right. Press Your Luck. Let’s Make a Deal. Double Dare. The $100,000 Pyramid. These were all fantastic shows that I grew up watching, that for some reason have gone by the wayside For some reason though today, well … Continue reading Sweeping the Nation

Buzz in the Kitchen: MommaChelle’s Spicy Cashew Chicken

December 4, 2012December 5, 2012 Nick

One night, I was curious what I could make using the stainless steel chef’s pot that I had received for Christmas last year.  When I first saw it, I had originally thought it was a wok of some kind, which … Continue reading Buzz in the Kitchen: MommaChelle’s Spicy Cashew Chicken

Stop Hating On My Man Booker

December 3, 2012December 10, 2012 Jason

As some of you might already know, the new cover art for Bioshock: Infinite was released the other day. Showing us a rather stoic looking Booker DeWitt, weapon in hand, standing in front of a backdrop featuring a burning American flag and … Continue reading Stop Hating On My Man Booker

Music to My Ears: Kingdom Hearts

December 3, 2012December 13, 2012 Chris

I first found out about Kingdom Hearts in a dirty bathroom stall. Once upon a time, the adorable younger version of me started his first job at Bashas’, a supermarket chain in Arizona. I was a good worker, but after … Continue reading Music to My Ears: Kingdom Hearts

Gray Areas

Gray Areas is a pop culture extravaganza with a live weekly podcast every Thursday night, daily Let's Play videos, and a bevy of old blog posts for your enjoyment.

The current crew includes Chris, Dave and Shaun, who have been there since the beginning, and Cody, who joined in 2021. We also have other contributors like Michaela who chip in from time to time.

We cover everything from video games, anime and movies to music, books and idiots in the news.

This whole thing was started as At the Buzzer in February 2011, the brainchild of three men desperate for attention. It became Objection Network in 2017 and then this in 2024. It’s slightly related to an old Flagstaff radio show from 2008, kinda like how Frasier was slightly related to Cheers. In other words, we're all getting old and it's a little depressing.
