The Simpsons Crossover: Have they Jumped the Shark?

July 24, 2013July 29, 2013 David

The Simpsons are starting their 25th season this fall. Think about that for a moment. Most of you weren’t even born in 1988 when they started. Maggie would be out of college inventing a new pacifier or something if they … Continue reading The Simpsons Crossover: Have they Jumped the Shark?

We live in the future. And while we might not (yet) have flying cars or colonies on Mars, we have printers that can make artificial organs, robots that fight our wars, and Superhero movies as ambitious as the times we … Continue reading Superheroes in 2014 – Movie Previews and Release Dates

The Conjuring Will Decide If I Ever Watch Horror Movies Again

July 19, 2013July 24, 2013 Shaun

Warning: Spoilers below…but not of The Conjuring.  Apparently, The Conjuring has been getting really positive reviews, and it looks plenty scary. Typically, I’m not a huge horror fan, but I’d really like to check it out. There’s only one problem … Continue reading The Conjuring Will Decide If I Ever Watch Horror Movies Again

Is Pixar Becoming an Unnecessary Sequel Mill?

Gray Areas

Gray Areas is a pop culture extravaganza with a live weekly podcast every Thursday night, daily Let's Play videos, and a bevy of old blog posts for your enjoyment.

The current crew includes Chris, Dave and Shaun, who have been there since the beginning, and Cody, who joined in 2021. We also have other contributors like Michaela who chip in from time to time.

We cover everything from video games, anime and movies to music, books and idiots in the news.

This whole thing was started as At the Buzzer in February 2011, the brainchild of three men desperate for attention. It became Objection Network in 2017 and then this in 2024. It’s slightly related to an old Flagstaff radio show from 2008, kinda like how Frasier was slightly related to Cheers. In other words, we're all getting old and it's a little depressing.
