BulletTime #4

May 29, 2013June 12, 2013 David

Whoo. What a time we live in! Or rather, what a time I’m living. The past month has gone by in a blur of wedding planning, work, and bachelor partying. I have to apologize for the cop-out of a bullet … Continue reading BulletTime #4

Miracle babies, sisters, and graduation!!!

May 24, 2013May 29, 2013 Shaun

My sister was born three months premature. So, allow me to state the obvious and point out that while most of us get to incubate for nine months, she had six. Naturally, this led to all sorts of “guaranteed” issues … Continue reading Miracle babies, sisters, and graduation!!!

The Insanity Blog: Final Program Review

May 15, 2013May 20, 2013 David

The madness is finally over. I write this after completing the final workout: Max Cardio Conditioning & Cardio Abs and I can honestly say I’m feeling pretty proud of myself. That’s not to say that did everything I could, not by any … Continue reading The Insanity Blog: Final Program Review

Why Eifel 65’s I’m Blue is the Best Song of All Time

May 7, 2013May 7, 2013 Shaun

In 1999, Eifel 65 released the greatest workout song known to mankind. With an addictive-as-crack-cocaine electronic flourish and seemingly innocuous lyrics that cut like hot steel to the core of humanity, Eifel 65’s I’m Blue defined a generation. He’s blue. … Continue reading Why Eifel 65’s I’m Blue is the Best Song of All Time

Number Eleven With a Bullet

April 22, 2013April 26, 2013 Chris

Chinese proverb: Be not afraid of growing slowly, be afraid only of bullets. I have a ridiculously full week ahead of me here. I’m filling in on multiple shifts at work. I’m working on a side project that will be … Continue reading Number Eleven With a Bullet

The Insanity Blog

April 17, 2013April 20, 2013 David

So this insanity blog update might be considerably shorter than my usual posts. Mostly because my fiance got in a car accident yesterday (She came out totally OK  the car…not so much) and mostly because while I began month two of … Continue reading The Insanity Blog

Winning Takes Care of Everything

April 3, 2013April 6, 2013 David

So there’s a lot of backlash to this picture. It’s confusing to me why that’s the case. We all know the Tiger Woods story (you really can’t avoid it): He came bursting onto the scene right out of college and … Continue reading Winning Takes Care of Everything

The Insanity Blog

March 27, 2013March 30, 2013 David

I’m tired. Like really really tired. It’s insane (see what I did there) what Insanity has done to me lately. A lot of people say that they have more energy when they work out more. They say that since they’re … Continue reading The Insanity Blog

The Insanity Blog

March 20, 2013March 25, 2013 David

“He Jalen Rose’d me.” For those of you not familiar with Kobe Bryant or the NBA, the term “Jalen Rose’d” is something that Lakers guard Kobe Bryant made up to describe when a defender sticks their foot under the offensive … Continue reading The Insanity Blog

Gray Areas

Gray Areas is a pop culture extravaganza with a live weekly podcast every Thursday night, daily Let's Play videos, and a bevy of old blog posts for your enjoyment.

The current crew includes Chris, Dave and Shaun, who have been there since the beginning, and Cody, who joined in 2021. We also have other contributors like Michaela who chip in from time to time.

We cover everything from video games, anime and movies to music, books and idiots in the news.

This whole thing was started as At the Buzzer in February 2011, the brainchild of three men desperate for attention. It became Objection Network in 2017 and then this in 2024. It’s slightly related to an old Flagstaff radio show from 2008, kinda like how Frasier was slightly related to Cheers. In other words, we're all getting old and it's a little depressing.
