About Us

Gray Areas is a pop culture extravaganza with a live weekly podcast every Tuesday night, daily Let’s Play videos, and a bevy of old blog posts for your enjoyment.

We cover everything from video games, anime and movies to music, books and idiots in the news.

This whole thing was started as At the Buzzer in February 2011, the brainchild of three men desperate for attention. It became Objection Network in 2017 before taking its current form in 2024. It’s slightly related to an old Flagstaff radio show from 2008, kinda like how Frasier was slightly related to Cheers. In other words, we’re all getting old and it’s a little depressing.

The Crew

Chris runs all of the behind-the-scenes work for the website, the podcast and the YouTube channel. He’s tall and people say he scowls a lot.

Dave was on the show, then got married and had kids, then came back to the show. He’s still on probation until further notice.

Shaun writes about video games and movies and had the worst childhood in the history of mankind. He thinks everything in the world is a potential killer.

Contributors

Michaela chips in every other week or so and fills the anime void on the website, as well as many Let’s Play videos.

Michelle used to write for the site and was on almost 200 episodes of the podcast, but now she’s dead.
