Theatrhythm Final Fantasy All-Star Carnival is Legit

July 17, 2017August 22, 2017 Chris

I miss the arcade scene. When I was a kid, you could find cabinets in all sorts of places, not limited to the arcades themselves — restaurants, bowling alleys, airports, even gas stations. Now a ton of arcades are gone … Continue reading Theatrhythm Final Fantasy All-Star Carnival is Legit

June 14, 2015August 1, 2015 Chris

Even though there had been rumors for a few weeks, actually seeing Ryu in Super Smash Bros. rekindled something in my heart. I didn’t think I’d be so excited about it, but…I am. I’ve talked in earlier versions of these … Continue reading Music to My Ears: Ryu’s Theme (Super Smash Bros.)

Brave or Grave is one of those songs that I’ll always remember, even as I encounter hundreds and thousands of other tracks along the way. It’s the music from the final boss fight against Shin M. Bison in Street Fighter … Continue reading Music to My Ears: Brave or Grave

February 27, 2013 Shaun

New Xbox Announcement? Chris said it best when he reacted to PS4’s announcement with a resounding “meh.” All the features are okay, but here’s my question: as gamers, do we care about all that Vita connectivity BS, or do we … Continue reading Microsoft to announce new Xbox 720 in April

Editor’s Note: We’re happy to have a guest post today from Michael over at Ninety Nine Percent Gaming. Gray Areas

Gray Areas is a pop culture extravaganza with a live weekly podcast every Thursday night, daily Let's Play videos, and a bevy of old blog posts for your enjoyment.

The current crew includes Chris, Dave and Shaun, who have been there since the beginning, and Cody, who joined in 2021. We also have other contributors like Michaela who chip in from time to time.

We cover everything from video games, anime and movies to music, books and idiots in the news.

This whole thing was started as At the Buzzer in February 2011, the brainchild of three men desperate for attention. It became Objection Network in 2017 and then this in 2024. It’s slightly related to an old Flagstaff radio show from 2008, kinda like how Frasier was slightly related to Cheers. In other words, we're all getting old and it's a little depressing.
