BulletTime #3

December 12, 2012December 21, 2012 David

Much like Chris from Monday, I’ve been slammed, so I’ve condensed my thoughts in a way that is similar to Chris’, but totally different. You are now entering “BulletTime” Geez, this year’s Cardinals might be the worst football team we’ve ever had in Phoenix, and we’ve had some … Continue reading BulletTime #3

The Price is Right. Press Your Luck. Let’s Make a Deal. Double Dare. The $100,000 Pyramid. These were all fantastic shows that I grew up watching, that for some reason have gone by the wayside For some reason though today, well … Continue reading Sweeping the Nation

ASU’s Best wins over “That School”

November 21, 2012November 27, 2012 David

I know, I know, another ASU post. But for me, this is a special time. We all remember my post last year about sports hate, and it’s that time of year again. The big game, ASU vs UA, The Duel … Continue reading ASU’s Best wins over “That School”

Does the Bionic Band Really Work?

November 7, 2012November 13, 2012 David

Last week I attended the Arizona State Fair. Aside from the usual games ferris wheels and prizes, there were many different booths set up of people trying to sell you whatever crazy new products they have come up with to … Continue reading Does the Bionic Band Really Work?

Grammar Police

October 24, 2012October 29, 2012 David

I’ll come out and say it right now. I’m a member of the grammar police. Every time I see someone use an incorrect conjugation of a verb, or someone use your when they should use “you’re” drives me insane. It … Continue reading Grammar Police

BulletTime #2

October 17, 2012October 22, 2012 David

Too many thoughts to focus on just one, and so that will bring us the next installment of America’s favorite blog: BulletTime. I got the name for my bullet point blog partially because it was a bullet, and partially because … Continue reading BulletTime #2

Fan-demonium

October 10, 2012October 15, 2012 David

When I was 5 years old, my parents got free tickets to the local minor league hockey team, the Phoenix Roadrunners. The Roadrunners were the second longest tenured Phoenix team at the time, with only the Suns being around longer. … Continue reading Fan-demonium

Getting Older – I’m So Sleepy

October 3, 2012October 5, 2012 David

So I had a great idea in my freshman year of college on a friday night. I had hung out with my friends until about 2 am, then people were falling asleep, so I headed back to my room. I … Continue reading Getting Older – I’m So Sleepy

Most of us have seen it by now. The Monday Night Football debacle. The Inaccurate Reception. Senseless in Seattle. Whatever nickname you want to call it, this was a big deal across all facets of society. For a quick recap: … Continue reading The Replacements

Gray Areas

Gray Areas is a pop culture extravaganza with a live weekly podcast every Thursday night, daily Let's Play videos, and a bevy of old blog posts for your enjoyment.

The current crew includes Chris, Dave and Shaun, who have been there since the beginning, and Cody, who joined in 2021. We also have other contributors like Michaela who chip in from time to time.

We cover everything from video games, anime and movies to music, books and idiots in the news.

This whole thing was started as At the Buzzer in February 2011, the brainchild of three men desperate for attention. It became Objection Network in 2017 and then this in 2024. It’s slightly related to an old Flagstaff radio show from 2008, kinda like how Frasier was slightly related to Cheers. In other words, we're all getting old and it's a little depressing.
