It seems like whenever I try to surprise someone I care about, it gets ruined. They find out early because I’m terrible at keeping secrets; horrific traffic out of nowhere prevents us from reaching the spot on time, etc. As time goes on, the surprises I attempt continue to get smaller and smaller in scale. And they STILL get ruined.
I think that’s why I’m so impressed by this video. Brad, our protagonist and the man I want to be when I grow up, managed to get dozens (hundreds?) of their friends and family together for this thing. And they weren’t just together — they were completely choreographed and enthusiastic. What’s more is that he managed to keep them all in time with a somewhat brief song. So many things could have gone wrong, but other than a few of the friends missing steps in their choreography, it went without a hitch. To top it all off, the video playing on the TV on the beach was amazing and alone would have been romantic enough, and he had the patience to come out of nowhere and propose. And she clearly loved the whole thing. This is a shining example of how to do a proposal/romantic event right. Watch the video and take notes, America.

I can’t help but like this song because of this amazing video.
