Sorry Dave. Please note the part of the article below the video where it says the ASPCA warns a car can reach 102 degrees in ten minutes, on an 85 degree day.
Yeah, I thought about bringing up that video as well, but then I forgot about it before we changed headlines. But “an hour” is waaaaay too long for anyone to be in that situation in summer.
I personally think that anyone willing to leave a living being in a car, that is not accustomed to said environment, should be willing to submit themselves to this test:
You are equipped with a device that delivers voltage to your body. This voltage will increase with time as long as some specific other person is not within close proximity to you. You cannot communicate with this person. This person leaves. You don’t know if they’re coming back. The device is capable of reaching lethal levels.
Do NOT leave your animals in your car. I don’t care if it is only a little bit. Please note the part of the above video where the vet says that a dog CANNOT PERSPIRATE.
What say you Dave? Man…it’s hard being so right all the time…
RE: can video game fishing be entertaining?
I submit to you that it can: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48uaRA6ROOY
AND
There was even another one, but I think these two are the best.
Yeah, I got rid my caps lock key a long, long time ago. It isn’t so much that I hate the function (which I never need) as much as its place on the keyboard. I’d rather all of the annoying ‘lock’ keys be placed together in one easily avoidable spot.
And if you were curious, my Capslock key actually launches my Launchy, which I how I open up a lot of different shortcuts, do a lot of internet searches, and also look for files on my computer.
IT IS AWESOME.
which is how*
I never use the caps lock either, but I don’t think I’d want it to do another function — if anything, it’s just something I accidentally hit when I reach for shift. I suppose I should just go into settings and disable it.
