Well, it’s official, Frozen has now become the highest grossing animated movie of all time, knocking Toy Story 3 out of the top spot. It is now among the top 10 highest grossing movies ever.

Now, I love me some Frozen. In fact I consider it something of a “Second Coming” for Disney, one heralded by Tangled a few years back. But I will say that I think Toy Story 3 was a more artfully told story with more harder hitting feels than Frozen had. That being said, Frozen exists as a testament to just how far Disney has come over the years, with them openly mocking and playing with the tropes they themselves created over the years.

So congrazt Disney! Ya did good. The trick now is to just not F it up with your next Princess movie…
